Presentation Description
Wondering how to integrate digital tools with STEM and creativity with elementary students? This is the session for you! We will explore projects that bridge the gap between ideas and implementation. Participants will experience seven stations that demonstrate how digital tools can be used to support learning in the classroom. Come and explore resources in a hands-on session!

Workshop Outline and Objectives
During this workshop participants will be learning about 7 different STEM projects that incorporate digital tools and encourage problem-solving and creativity from students. Each project will include resources, equipment needed, full description, and steps to implementation. Students will guide participants through each station, and explain the tools and projects. Projects include:
• Book Creator as a Digital STEM notebook - Students will be demonstrating how to combine note-taking, observations, images, video, and audio explanations to create multi-media STEM notebooks. The app Teaching Graphs will also be shown as a tool to represent data and integrate Math.
• Symbaloo – Teachers will demonstrate how this tool is used to share resources and links to flipped lessons with students.
• Green Screening to Model Processes - Students will demonstrate how green-screening can be used to demonstrate a process, system, or concept explanation.
• Recorded Math Explanations - Students will share how they use screen casting and stop-motion to explain their Math strategies and solutions.
• Osmo – Students will demonstrate how Osmo Numbers, Tangrams and Words can be used in Math and ELA.
• Coding - Students will demonstrate the different resources we use to learn coding skills.
• Research Sharing – Students will demonstrate how FlipGrid is used to share research with their classmates.

Participants will leave with ideas and projects that can be easily implemented into their lesson plans. A Symbaloo of STEM & Inquiry Learning resources for elementary teachers will also be shared.
