As seismic shifts occur in our society due to the rapid deployment and exponential growth of technology, educational leaders increasingly grapple with the task of ensuring that students are adequately prepared for careers and their future. This session explores the intersection of the core competencies of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and technology. Participants will explore the ways in which digital tools and high leverage instructional strategies can play a crucial role in the development of social/emotional skills. Educators will examine ways to leverage the power of technologies like virtual reality, wearables and advanced analytics to increase personalization of instruction and deepen students’ cognitive engagement in learning.
