Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will provide training on current data security best practices for education data systems, including user privacy and security awareness, privacy and security program development. It will address ways in which schools are vulnerable and common security failures seen in districts. This session is appropriate for anyone who has access to student data. This interactive presentation puts you in the driver’s seat for a simulated data breach. Attendees will be faced with a data breach scenario and have to make the critical decisions in addressing an ongoing breach, avoiding pitfalls and guiding an organization through the difficult and often murky issues facing organizations during that time.
